Trusting Again

Trusting someone who has lied to you,
that cannot be an easy thing to do.
Knowing everything that she has done,
can you really tell yourself she is the one?

How do you know how she really feels,
how can you tell the feelings are real?
She says that she loves you even more,
but we all know you've heard that before.

If I tell you everything that I've heard,
I can tell you that she means every word.
I would tell you that she cries every day,
I could describe how she feels, in a way.

I might even explain her most awesome fears,
I can tell you that they've built up over the years.
She knows that lying to you wasn't smart,
she is so much in love, it is breaking her heart.

She wants you to see that she is honest and true,
she wants you to know, she wants no one but you.
She has changed so much in the passing days,
she has grown up in so many different ways.

Everything that I say is just words to you,
but I can tell you that every word is true.
She is no longer lying, I wish you could see,
I know she is truthful, because she is me.
