Hard to Take

Someone that says things that hurt you and make you feel bad, seems weird to have them now say things that make you feel happy and glad.

I know that you doubt the words that I say to you about how I feel, because they are so different from before, they don't seem to be real.

I have stepped back and looked to what kind of person I was, I realize that everything that went wrong, I was the cause.

I have changed so many of the things that I do and who i want to be, I would like to say that I did it for you, but the truth is I did it for me.

I want you to know today and forever that all that I say and all that I do, is said out of love and is directed at you.

Try to accept the kind words and the happiness that I have to share, I want you to know that I will not leave, I will always be there.
